What is Kaikukortti?
Kaikukortti is a free personal card that gives you no-cost access to cultural events and activities — like festivals, theatre, concerts, museums, and some courses. It’s designed so culture is accessible to all, regardless of income.
Who is it for?
You can get a Kaikukortti in Vaasa if you:
- Are 16 years or older.
- Are a client of a social welfare, health, or wellbeing service participating in the Kaikukortti network.
- Are in a tight financial situation and can’t afford tickets or course fees.
The card is personal and free.
Where is it valid?
In Vaasa and in other participating Kaikukortti areas around Finland. You can use it for cultural events and adult education courses that join the network — including museums, summer theatres, concerts, and exhibitions.
When can you use it?
- Kaikukortti is valid for one year from when it’s issued.
- Event uses depend on the venues’ schedules — so check with the place where you want to go.
Why does it exist?
To make culture accessible to everyone, especially people and families in financially tight situations. It lets you participate in cultural life and enjoy arts without cost barriers.
